Ten days bring together falconry, hunting, travel and adventure, allowing visitors to discover a living heritage passed down through generations.

The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 opened on 1 October. Organized by the National Center for Falcons in Malham, north of Riyadh, it continues until the tenth of the month.

The falcon remains at the heart of the event, with a programme featuring falcon auctions, the ‘Future Falconer’ experience and the ‘Shalayel’ museum, alongside shooting, sea fishing, safaris and outdoor travel equipment. Visitors can meet falconers and specialists and learn about their skills and the equipment used in their pursuit.

Among the anticipated competitions is the Al-Melwah race, scheduled for 4–9 October, where spectators can watch the falcons’ speed and the skills involved in training them.

The auction held inside the exhibition saw the sale of a young peregrine falcon captured in Al-Hamad in the Northern Borders region by Abdullah Radi Al-Anazi and Mashhour Ayed Al-Anazi. Bidding began at SAR 30,000 and ended with the falcon selling for SAR 101,000.

The auction is restricted to young migratory peregrine falcons captured within the Kingdom. Adult peregrines and saker falcons are excluded to support the sustainability of their populations.

The exhibition welcomes visitors daily from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.
